EveEva Aldridge - Manager

Hi, I’m Eva Aldridge and the Manager of Volunteer Centre Rugby. I’ve been in post some 22 years and have seen the Centre through many changes and developments. 2005 has been an eventful year with the move to new premises at 60 Regent Street, the setting up of new projects and being involved with year of the Volunteer, whilst continuing our regular volunteering activities and transport schemes. I have overall responsibility for the centre, its services, policy making, strategic development and funding.

With our friendly staff and volunteers we encourage and welcome all visitors, volunteers and clients to be part of our vibrant community in Rugby Borough.


Pauline - Deputy Manager

My name is Pauline Cassidy and I am Deputy Manager. I have been in post since 1999 and am responsible for finance, human resources, management of the voluntary transport scheme as well as working closely with Eva in developing the Centre as we continue to grow.








Karen Handcock - Volunteer Support Officer

I'm Karen and I am the Volunteer Support Officer at the centre. My role is mainly to recruit volunteers and provide them with placements. I work with the voluntary and community sector to develop volunteering opportunities.








BhatiBharti - Transport

I'm Bharti and I have worked at the Volunteer Centre since 2002. I coordinate journeys too and from day-care centres, colleges and many more.









Yvonne - Transport

I'm Yvonne and I coordinate the journeys for hospital appointments.










Stepping Stones Coordinator

Stepping Stones Gardening project. This project provides a gardening service for disadvantaged groups in the community.








Julian - Village Link Coordinator

My name is Julian and I'm the Village Link Coordinator which is a rural transport scheme. Village link takes people on regular trips to places not easily reached through public transport.




Carole - Care to Share Coordinator

Carole is the Care to Share Coordinator at the centre. Care to Share is a minibus brokerage scheme which pools minibus resources to provide affordable and accessible transport to non profit community groups with a transport need within Rugby Borough and surrounding villages.
