Care to Share
The Care to Share Minibus Brokerage scheme is available for bookings.
The scheme is funded by WRASP (Warwickshire Rural Access to Services Partnership) and supported by WCC.
The scheme, known as ‘Care to Share’, pools minibus transport resources to provide affordable and accessible transport to non profit community groups with a transport need within Rugby Borough and surrounding villages.
This is made possible by organisations with minibuses, to offer them for use by ‘not for profit’ groups. The scheme will ensure your trip is affordable, safe and legal and in a maintained vehicle. Where required the minibus will be equipped with a lift to allow for wheelchair access and passengers with mobility problems.
A number of vehicles are included in the scheme which individually can seat up to 16 passengers or up to 15 passengers and a wheelchair. The buses can be configured to take additional wheelchairs.
Larger groups can be catered for by using multiple vehicles.
Drivers can be arranged or, subject to insurance criteria, organisations can use their own drivers if they prefer.
