VOLUNTEERING
The Volunteer Centre Rugby supports and promotes local voluntary action and services in the local area. We provide a comprehensive volunteer recruitment service, free to volunteers and volunteer involving organisations.
The Volunteer Centre Rugby is part of a network of centres around the country and is a member of Volunteering England.
If you are a community or voluntary organisation you can contact our centre with any voluntary opportunities you have, we can then match volunteers to these depending on their interests, skills and experience.
Volunteers can register with us which will be followed by a confidential interview to discuss which opportunities are available.
The Volunteer Centre aims to provide continued support to both volunteers and organisations through training, monitoring and our Volunteer- Coordinators Forum.

Volunteers
- The centre has up to date information on opportunities
available in over one hundred organisations in and around Rugby. - We can provide a confidential interview to discuss your needs and expectations of volunteering.
- We can provide support and good practice advice to ensure volunteering is a positive experience.
- The Volunteer’s Forum provides an opportunity to share your experiences with other volunteers and the Volunteer Centre.

- We pre – interview candidates.
- We can offer good practice guidance for dealing with volunteers.
- We offer training in partnership with other agencies on issues relating to volunteering.
